Creative Is a Performance Variable

What people see influences whether they care enough to take the next step.

Targeting decides who sees an ad. Creative decides whether they stop. Two campaigns with the same budget and the same audience can produce very different results, and the difference is usually what was on the screen.

Treat creative like a test

Plan creative in sets, not one-offs. Change one thing at a time: the opening second, the offer, the person on camera, the format. Keep what wins and retire what does not.

Make it specific

Generic footage of a generic business tells people nothing. Show the actual store, the actual dish, the actual crew. Specific creative earns trust faster than polished creative that could belong to anyone.

Connect it to the rest

The best ad still needs a page that matches its promise and a follow-up that keeps the conversation going. Creative performs best when it is built for the journey it starts.
